  • It’s always best to wear waterproof, smudge-proof mascara on your special day. Apply more than one coat to make lashes thicker and more noticeable. Always allow the lashes to dry between applications to avoid “Clumpy Lashes”!
  • Several weeks prior to your wedding, it is very important to start exfoliating your body – especially the elbows and feet. We sometimes forget to care for what we don’t see in the mirror, and it’s a must to make sure there are no “Ashy Elbows or Feet” on your wedding day. That goes for the bride AND the bridal attendants!
  • If you’re wearing open-toed shoes, you and your attendants should all have the same color of nail polish on your toes. We like to match the polish with the shade of lipstick or gloss you’ve chosen to wear.
  • For color-stay lips, try not only lining your lips with lipliner, but also color the lips in with the liner, apply your lipstick, and then reline!
  • “THE EYES HAVE IT” – By using eyeliner on the lower lash bed, you can create the look of a much more enhanced eye. Never use liner on the inside of the bottom lid. When liner is used on the inside of the bottom lid, it closes the eye, which makes it appear much smaller.
  • It is best to have your facial several months prior to your wedding or special occasion. By doing so, you are not only more relaxed, but will also have time to correct any problem areas or concerns that you may have regarding not only your face, but also hands, feet, and legs.
  • Nail it! Ideally, a manicure should be done the day before the wedding and a coat of clear should be applied on the day of the wedding.
  • Hair rehearsal is important. Try a wedding hairstyle and see how it holds up before the wedding. Have your regular trim four weeks prior and book the wedding day appointment a month in advance to make sure your stylist is available.
  • Survival kit! All brides should have a survival kit. You don`t know what could go wrong. Let your matron of honor or one of your bridesmaids carry it for you.
  • Don`t wait until your wedding day to wear your new shoes, especially if they have high heels. Wear them around the house for at least a week before the big day.
  • Be prepared for the unexpected. Relax and enjoy the biggest day of your life.
